a new day!

ok...

so yesterday was not the best day in the world...

it involved:

a lot of vomit

a whole bunch of diarrhea (tmi??)

carpet cleaner

furniture cleaner

5 pairs of pajama changes

a whole slew of diaper changes

baths

tears

deep breaths... DEEEEEEEEP BREATHS.... remember the thing about mary and giving birth in the stable maggie!!!!

seriously.

a surprise floral delivery from my mama :-)

a husband who never seizes to amaze me... i believe he said "oh honey, it sounds like you have had a baaaaaaaad day. Do you need a little present?" Yes. Yes I do. and he instructed me where to look for the hidden present (pretty sure I had checked everywhere - wow! good hider) and in a little envelope was a Pandora charm.... BE STILL MY HEART!

my new charm is a little link with a horseshoe hanging on it!!!! oh how i miss riding! my sweet hubby is so thoughtful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok...

the mall of america was complete mayhem - not gonna lie... it wasn't pretty!

my poor darling daughter was so overwhelmed, overstimulated, tired and "over it" by about 10 minutes into the experience....

there were SO MANY PEOPLE and not enough space to walk, push a stroller, deal with a child having a tantrum, sweat a little, and drink a diet coke all at the same time.

i managed to hit a few stores, after miss thang fell asleep in her stroller AND word on the street is that my dimpled dude of a husband purchased something for me and it is hidden in our room... i have looked ALL OVER and still nothin'.... no, i am not 12... yes, i love to know what i am getting for christmas, birthdays, valentine's day, anniversaries, etc... sorry! :-) mama no likey surprises!

we managed to make it home (thru major SNOWFALL) without crawling into balls and crying a little from the madness... the hubster had to plow, josie got the stomach flu, and i have taken several long, hot baths, and am trying to remember to take it all in stride....

if mary can give birth in a stable, then i can handle flu bugs and a traveling husband.

'nough said.

on a different note... found this and had to print it out and plaster it to my cupboard!

I am feeling extremely giddy and jolly right about now...

I get to see my hubby tonight (dude's been workin' out of town)

AND spending the night in a beauteous hotel with the FAM'.... WITH a pool

last night we got a very light dusting of snow! ***

just enough to cover the grass - yaaay

so what's a girl to do??

make SNOW ANGEL'S of course!!!!

it looks like miss thang is simply laying in the snow - like someone put her there and told her to hang out for a while while they took pictures (i swear it wasn't me), but actually - she was flapping and moving and making snow angels like a pro! well, after some practice!

i told her to flap her arms up and down and she thought i said "clap",

so she layed in the snow clapping :-)

oh how i love this precious girl!!!!

P.S. in case you were wondering, YES, snow angels suck on yellow pacifiers while doing there work! It's just better that way!
