I am so sorry that I haven't posted this sooner, 

my BFF is here and in the past 24 hours we've

tried on multiple pairs of glasses at the store,

witnessed an arrest for MAJOR shop lifting (note to self: do not go out the emergency exit with a cart full of unpaid merchandise in stilleto's... girlfriend looked real uncomfortable in handcuffs and stilleto's on a hot summer day... unless that's how you roll!) 

we ate a delicious Mexican meal,

devoured new magazines,

shopped,

ate some more,

gushed over Josie,

but i think i got too much beach this week....

based on the fact that my carpet kicks up a little sand when i walk,

Yesterday morning, my syrup smiled at me!

and I, of course, smiled back

:)

then, I poured a large mug of coffee, started to get ready and felt a little girls arms around my legs, asking to come and read to her....

we snuggled.

read library books.

talked about our day.

it was so much better than putting on mascara!

This morning,

the waffles are gone, so I opted for cereal = no smiling syrup!

my daughter doesn't even want me to look at her = diva in the making!?

the dog keeps licking the lotion off of my legs = disgusting!
