Happy Anniversary Honey!

4 years ago - today - i married the man of my dreams!

it was a magical day - and we were SO blessed to be surrounded by all of our nearest and dearest friends and family....

HUGE snowflakes fell all throughout the day, and all was calm,

peaceful,

and beautiful on Lake Superior.

I love you so very, very much Brian Lee Hubbling...

we are having so much fun! and tonight are heading to Michael's and Green Mill for supper!

the hubster, and grandpa are in California - road tripping!

i gave my husband SPECIFIC directions to find the "Dash" store (in Calabasas, where they are staying) buy me something small, and track down any of the Kardashian's :) and tell them hello from me!

i can't help but watch their show on t.v. - kind of addicting, but not really! makes me laugh for the most part - and annoys my husband A LOT!

well... the dude is pretty much THE BOMB... found the store, and had my dad take his picture!

"Dash" was closed :(

but the photo op was PERF!

perhaps they will have brunch this morning and stop by to do a little shopping

this past weekend, we headed to Duluth, MN to stay at my parents home on Lake Superior - probably our last getaway up there since the house is on the market....

i had my camera on my neck the whole wknd and snapped some pic's...

It was a peaceful weekend and my mom sent Brian and I out for supper Saturday evening for an early 4 year wedding anniversary surprise (actual anniv on the 12th)... we were married in Duluth on an amazing January day!!!!! It is such a serene place, and I have wonderful memories...

This looked like so much fun... I couldn't resist!

:)

1. One of my favorite things to do when I have free time is go horseback riding!!

2. When I have free time I tend to be a busy body... then I am pooped... and wish I had free time again! :) What's a girl to do!?

3. If I had an entire day completely to myself I would start out with a yummy breakfast (something homemade like french toast perhaps) and coffee, go get a manicure/pedicure, then head out shopping for whatever floats my boat... yarn? household items? clothing? accessories? I would go where the wind blew me.... preferably in the direction of an Anthropologie! :)

4. I would prefer to spend my free time (alone or with others...) a little bit of both makes for a delightful balance, if you ask me!

5. Most of my free time happens in the evenings and on the weekends.

6. The best thing about free time is the endless possibilities!

7. The next time I have free time I should probably be sure to schedule a NAP! :)

hey kids!!!!!

WE MADE IT! Friday is here. Life is good. and so are Breathe Rights!!! Slapped one of those puppies on my hubster lastnight, and slept like a log! Until my 5:30 AM wake up call: "MAAAMAAAAAA I WAKE UPPPPP!!!"

ummm... Josie, i don't think so sister! (that didn't work... we were up at 6:00 AM)

now I am practically snorkeling in my S*T*R*O*N*G coffee! seriously.

OHHHHHH.. i amost forgot... it was a brand spanking new Grey's Anatomy lastnight and I don't think i took a breath until the hour long saga was over! it was intense, and i was all whipped up afterwards - needless to say, i am a bit pooped this morning.

however, i haven't neglected to share with you some things that are bringing me

last night... LATE last night, i woke up wide awake with the song from sound of music in my head.... you know, the one "doe a deer a female deer, ray a drop of golden sun..." my foot was tapping, my brain was singing and my husband was breathing like darth vader....

~we are going to spend what will probably be our last overnight in my parents home a couple hours north this weekend... it is on the market... i feel a little melancholy about it - my sweet hubby and i had our wedding reception in this home and lived there for several months after josie was born, when brian worked on the pipeline....

i want to go there and soak up every second of it... it is on the north shore, and so serene.

i will be sure to take pictures :)

Here are some New Year's highlights:

* an amazing family vacation to the North!

* trolley rides with Clydesdale's (be still my heart!)

* ice skating by a bonfire (marshmallows and hot cocoa included)

* hot tubbing

* FAMILY TOGETHERNESS!

{the one slight downfall... Josie was sick the majority of the vacation and we came home and went directly to the doctor - got antibiotics - came home and fell into bed - doing MUCH better!}

and now a little Christmas for you....

we ended up skating on the lake, instead of the pond...

but it was perfect!!! :)
