hat idea, christmas and new years (whew!)

ok... now tell me... HOW stinking cute is this?!?
The Purl Bee has done it again my friends!
Go here for the How To and do it up :)
Now, on with the show!!!
I am going to work backwards and start with New Year's and end with Christmas!
Hope you don't mind...
Here are some New Year's highlights:
* an amazing family vacation to the North!
* trolley rides with Clydesdale's (be still my heart!)
* ice skating by a bonfire (marshmallows and hot cocoa included)
* hot tubbing
* FAMILY TOGETHERNESS!
{the one slight downfall... Josie was sick the majority of the vacation and we came home and went directly to the doctor - got antibiotics - came home and fell into bed - doing MUCH better!}

and now a little Christmas for you....

we ended up skating on the lake, instead of the pond...
but it was perfect!!! :)
Nikki... these are for you!
Happy Birthday baby Jesus :)
Da Da Da Da Da DORA!!!!
Girlfriend about passed out when she saw her "Dora Kitchen!"
Merry Christmas my sweet buggy girl!!!
She likes to pretend to wash her hands :)
(I have taught her well!)
Ok.... so that about wraps it up...
there is a plethora of pictures on my computer, but our Internet is
RI-DONC-ULOUS-LY
S-L-O-W ....
and while I waited for pictures to load, I put my hair in braids and may have discovered a new bird species.... who knew bird watching could be so interesting... for REALS!
I have a TON to blog about... so hold on to your hats my dears...
More to come...
Until then....
HAPPY 2012
It's going to be a G*R*E*A*T one!
